The wet weather cleared and it was lovely afternoon for our family fun day at Waterloo School.
We chose the school because it was fully fenced with three playgrounds for different ages.
A few of us we running a little late but the flat whites and sausages from the local butcher were there to greet people as they arrived.
It took a while to get into the sack races, but the tug of war was a hit. Also very popular was the ice blocks and the hard fought game of all age kiwi cricket.
Everyone who came who came had a nice time.
Hopefully see you at the next one.
