Congrats on your new baby.
We are here to offer support and information to help you along your new journey. We have new parent packs and a small team of brilliant mums who can support you.
You might be feeling a range of emotions; from excitement and anticipation to shock, loss, sadness and sometimes, even anger.
We are here to listen and to help.
Having a new baby at any time can be stressful. A lot of babies born with Down syndrome don’t need extra support, particularly as a newborn. Sometimes babies with Down syndrome are born with additional health conditions. We are here to offer support and information to help you and your family, whatever your situation is.
The great news is things aren’t like they used to be. With your help and support your child will be a valued member of the community.
WDSA is made up of parents just like you. We have all been where you are now. We are here to listen and to help. Within the WDSA we have a great team of volunteers that are here to help you if you need some support.
We have fantastic new parent packs to send out to you, and if you would like to, we can help you to meet with other members of the WDSA.
